About the role As an Analyst within the Supply Chain team at Ocado Logistics, you will provide data, analysis, tooling, reporting, and decision-making support to a variety of stakeholders across Logistics. Reporting into an Analytics Manager, your work will help consolidate data from multiple sources, optimise KPIs through root cause analysis, and drive strategic, data-driven projects that enhance operational performance. You will: Provide data analysis, reporting, and tooling support across Logistics and occasionally other business areas. Consolidate and aggregate data from multiple sources, in collaboration with Data Services and Technology teams. Drive improvement of key performance indicators through trend analysis and root cause investigation. Contribute to major cross-departmental projects, presenting actionable insights to relevant stakeholders. Fulfil operational data requests from stakeholders across the business. Ensure compliance with best practice security management in all data-related activities. Occasionally visit our CFC sites across the UK as required. About you – Requirements to be considered: Proven experience as an Analyst, ideally within a logistics or operational function. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills (essential). Technical proficiency in SQL, VBA, or other relevant programming/scripting languages (essential). Experience using and building BI tools to create insightful reports. Commercial awareness and a detail-driven mindset. Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments in critical operational activities (essential). Strong communication skills, capable of presenting findings clearly and influencing decisions. In the interview, we would like you to: Deliver insight-driven analysis that provides real business value. Clearly explain the ‘why’ behind the data and its impact on decision-making. Use data storytelling techniques, such as the STAR method, to communicate insights effectively. Interview Process Overview: Intro (30 mins) – Phone/Google Meet with Lead Recruiter, Richard Wandowski. Case Study – Successfully screened candidates may be required to complete a short case study task. Interviews – Two stages, focusing on behavioural, scenario-based, and technical experience.
