An opportunity has arisen to join our established HLTA team from August 2025 at Glen Hills, a larger than average, busy, friendly primary school in Glen Parva. We have dedicated staff, supportive parents, and delightful children.
This is a permanent contract supporting teaching and learning across the school. The role includes elements of whole class teaching, small group work, and interventions, without the additional assessment and planning requirements of a teaching post.
Glen Hills is seeking an outstanding and passionate HLTA who:
* Has previous experience as an HLTA or delivering lessons independently on a timetabled and ad hoc basis;
* Displays excellent standards in English and Maths;
* Has a strong understanding of primary education, especially KS2;
* Can support pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium and contribute to intervention strategies;
* Holds high expectations of pupil attainment, progress, and behaviour;
* Is committed to our school’s vision and values;
* Is a team player with a positive attitude;
* Is adaptable and flexible in their approach.
