Your new role
This is an opportunity for an experienced accountant to take responsibility for preparing accurate financial statements and accounts. Your core duties will include producing year-end accounts, managing taxputations, and ensuringpliance with relevant accounting standards. You will also assist with VAT returns, liaise with clients to gather financial information, and provide guidance on maintaining accurate time to time, you will handle ad hoc assignments, such as supporting clients with bookkeeping and improving their record-keeping processes. You will work closely with a diverse client base, primarily agricultural businesses, but also partnerships and limitedpanies. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines during busy periods.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in preparing accounts and a good understanding of tax matters. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines during busy periods. Familiarity with IRIS software would be an advantage but is not essential. A flexible approach to working hours and location will help you thrive in this role.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive apetitive salary of £34,000 to £38,000 FTE, depending on experience. You will benefit from flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home.
