My client is a renowned Italian luxury furniture brand and manufacturer, known for its craftsmanship, refined aesthetics, and timeless design. The company caters to both B2B clients, including architects, interior designers, and design studios, and B2C clients directly in their London showroom.
They are now looking for a Showroom Manager to lead and inspire their on-site team.
This is a unique opportunity for a creative and commercially minded leader who will make a real impact, someone able to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive sales, motivate the team, and elevate the brand’s presence in the UK market.
MISSION
The Showroom Manager is responsible for the P&L and for overseeing all aspects of the showroom’s operations, ensuring excellence in client experience, team performance, and overall business results of the showroom.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead, motivate, and develop the showroom team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve sales and performance KPIs.
* Manage and nurture relationships with both B2B clients (architects, designers, design studios) and B2C clients, offering a consultative and bespoke service.
* Take a creative and proactive approach to business development by organising events, collaborations, and initiatives that generate traffic, strengthen relationships, and enhance brand visibility.
* Ensure the showroom embodies the brand’s image and values through impeccable presentation, storytelling, and attention to detail.
* Analyse sales performance, monitor KPIs, and implement strategic action plans to reach commercial objectives.
* Act as a brand ambassador, liaising closely with HQ in Italy to align local activities with global strategy.
* Foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in showroom or store management within the luxury design, furniture, or interior industry.
* Strong commercial acumen combined with creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Genuine passion for design, with the ability to translate aesthetic sensibility into tangible business results.
* Experience working with both professional clients (architects, designers) and private clients.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Fluent or Native English.
* Knowledge of 3D tools is an advantage, but not mandatory.
* Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
