SEND Support Worker / Teaching Assistant (Full Time)

£92.56 - £105 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

The School and Role
This large, well-established SEND school in Central Birmingham is looking to appoint dedicated SEND Support Workers / Teaching Assistants to support pupils aged 2–19 with a range of complex needs. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school offers a supportive environment with excellent facilities and strong staff development. The role includes classroom support, behaviour management and personal care. This full-time position is long term with potential to become permanent.
Requirements
The desired SEND Support Worker / Teaching Assistant will have;
1. Experience working with children or young people
2. Experience supporting individuals with SEND
3. A willingness to support personal care needs
4. Strong behaviour management skills
5. A proactive and team-focused approach
