Our client is a well established and respected accountancy firm based in the heart of Edinburgh.
They now seek to recruit an experienced accountant to join their team managing a portfolio of diverse clients including limited companies, partnerships, trusts and sole traders.
Accounts Senior Duties
*Supervision of trainee accountants (ACCA)
*Preparation and supervision of statutory accounts preparation
*Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
*VAT returns
*Preparation of financial forecasts
*Preparation of income and corporation tax computations and liaising with HMRC
*Supervision of the payroll function
Accounts Senior Requirements
*Recently qualified part qualified or qualified by experience
*Proficient in the use of Sage & Excel
*A background gained working in a professional accountancy practice
*Ability to manage and motivate junior staff members
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The practice are a training firm and will provide financial assistance towards completion of professional exams
