On behalf of our client, we are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an individual to join their highly regarded Private Client team in the position of Paralegal, based at their North Devon office in Barnstaple.
This role offers a varied mix of fee-earning work and administrative responsibilities, with a particular focus on supporting the Estate Administration Team. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own workload independently, while also assisting with a wide range of matters and tasks delegated by senior members of the Private Client team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with estate administration matters from initial instruction through to conclusion
* Supporting senior fee earners with drafting legal documentation, preparing reports and liaising with clients
* Managing administrative tasks associated with Private Client work
* Attending client meetings, taking instructions, and undertaking matter-related tasks across the county as required
Candidate Profile:
* A Law Graduate and/or candidate with relevant legal experience, ideally in Private Client matters
* A genuine interest in Private Client law, particularly estate administration
* Strong IT skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, due to the requirement for occasional travel
