The Role You will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting a range of electronic products and final unit instruments. You will ensure each product meets the highest quality standards supporting smooth progression through inspection and release through working from detailed documentation and use of appropriate equipment. Duties will include but not be limited to: Assembling, testing and inspecting a range of electronic products. Liaising with the Senior Design Engineer and Project Manager. Developing internal procedures and standards as required. Updating and maintaining manufacturing procedures as required. Identifying faults and supporting Senior Design Engineer in diagnostics. Candidate requirements Qualifications and experience: Typically, HND, BTEC, degree, or equivalent apprenticeship in electronic engineering. At least three years experience in an electronics assembly environment is desirable. Technical Skills: Hand soldering and rework of surface mount components. Use of diagnostic tools including multimeters and oscilloscopes for circuit testing and fault finding. Understanding technical documentation including circuit schematics and PCB layouts. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities including curiosity and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
