Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role requires proven leadership experience, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to drive performance through people and process management. Flexibility is essential, as the role may require working across different shifts and supporting overtime when operational needs demand. A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure smooth and efficient operations are key to success in this position.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with other departments across the Port and Group to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
* Operate plant and equipment as required.
* Undertake other projects or duties as necessary for the Port and wider Group business.
* Manage people, plant, automation, and other resources to achieve shift throughput targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor within FMCG or 3PL.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
* Knowledge of warehouse management systems and MS Office proficiency; ability to input, retrieve, and analyse operational data.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to direct, coordinate, and optimise warehouse operations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Experience of working with collective agreements.
* Experience with SAP is preferred; experience with Transporeon haulage management software would be advantageous.
* Full right to work in the UK; full UK driving licence.
