Reception Team Leader

Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time, versatile, and enthusiastic Receptionist Team Leader responsible for Access Control at MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol. The successful candidate will fulfil a broad range of tasks to facilitate day-to-day Reception Services and will have the professional capability to multi-task when and where needed. Training will be given where required.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide and line manage a reception facility, acting as first point of contact for general enquiries and all persons wishing to enter the facility.
2. Control access of all entitled personnel and ensure safe custody of passes at the point of entry.
3. As necessary, liaise with the security staff, Building Manager, Health and Safety Coordinators and other support staff for the purposes of building management and safety.
4. Actively promote a safe working culture and adhere to the Health and Safety procedures, processes, and the law.
5. Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with current Health and Safety Regulations and the General Data Protection Regulations.
6. Carry out other reasonable tasks as required; this could include cover for staff and other building management and access control duties.

The Contract operates a 37.5 hour working week requiring an element of flexible output during the overarching service hours of 07:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday.
