Based in the South and South-West of England, Snows Motor Group is an AM Top 50 automotive retailer covering 20 brands across 54 franchises. Due to growth, we are currently looking to recruit a Head of Toyota & Lexus Fleet Sales to oversee our established Toyota and Lexus brands, based in Southampton.
This role focuses on ensuring the Sales Team drives sales forward.
Your Day
The Toyota and Lexus Fleet Manager is responsible for achieving sales and financial targets by developing effective plans and budgets in line with brand criteria. Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing the Corporate Sales Managers and fleet sales operations to maximize profit and meet sales targets.
2. Proactively reaching out to customers via email and phone to promote products and services.
3. Visiting clients or arranging meetings to discuss their needs and offer suitable solutions, prioritizing the brand they represent but also exploring wider Group opportunities.
4. Delivering sales pitches and presentations to highlight product benefits and encourage purchases.
5. Collaborating with the manufacturer on larger opportunities to secure the best terms for customers.
6. Engaging with customers to understand their needs and assist in selecting appropriate products/services.
7. Motivating and guiding the sales team to improve performance and achieve goals, with regular reviews and appropriate rewards or support.
8. Assessing team performance and productivity, and assigning quotas and leads accordingly.
9. Partnering with marketing to develop strategies that enhance sales while ensuring brand compliance.
10. Ensuring marketing activities align with sales targets.
11. Conducting market research to identify trends, leads, and new sales opportunities.
12. Analyzing sales data to produce performance reports for management decision-making.
13. Providing aftersales support to maximize revenue and build long-term relationships.
14. Preparing and presenting budgets and sales forecasts, and recommending operational improvements.
15. Organizing meetings to discuss fleet sales activities and develop strategies for performance improvement.
16. Promoting teamwork and sharing best practices across the division.
17. Attending conferences, events, and trade shows to expand networks and knowledge.
18. Communicating a passion for the brand.
19. Managing relationships with manufacturer contacts within their fleet departments.
20. Advocating for the company's interests with manufacturers and sharing relevant information.
Have you got what it takes?
* Technical knowledge from the retail motor industry.
* Numerate and articulate communication skills.
* A full driving license.
* Inspiring leadership and teamwork abilities.
* Experience delivering excellent customer service in a sales environment.
* Experience managing a team and developing others.
* Proven success in a target-driven sales environment.
* Knowledge of Toyota and Lexus brands and practices is desirable.

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch). Weekends as required by business needs.
