My client is a well‑established and respected civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced and driven Civils Contracts Manager to take responsibility for operational and commercial delivery across multiple projects due to continued growth in the Group. As a Civils Contracts Manager, you will take full accountability for your portfolio of civils, earthworks and similar projects ranging from £500k to £5million, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and managing project teams across all operational activities
* Upholding the highest standards in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management
* Driving commercial performance and contributing directly to project profitability
* Managing procurement, subcontractors, materials and programme milestones
* Building strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Mentoring, developing and performance‑managing your teams
* Representing the business professionally at meetings and industry events
About You::
* Minimum five years’ management experience in civil engineering
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
* CSCS Black or AQP/PQP card
* SMSTS
* Temporary Works Coordinator
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Professional membership (e.g., MICE, MCIOB)
* Appointed Person (CPCS LOLER)
