Professor Sarah J Tabrizi FRS is Joint Head of the Department of Neurodegenerative Disease and Director of the UCL Huntingtons Disease Centre at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, leading a research programme and a multidisciplinary interdisciplinary clinic.
Job Overview
This position provides high‑level Executive Assistant support to Professor Tabrizi, covering diary management, travel arrangements, administrative coordination and liaison with Department and Central Administration teams. The role also includes supporting Huntingtons Disease Centre meetings and incidental project work.
Responsibilities
* Manage a complex diary and arrange domestic and international travel.
* Provide comprehensive administrative, organisational and planning support.
* Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, book rooms and refreshments, and take minutes.
* Liaise with staff across the Department of Neurodegenerative Disease and the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology Central Administration teams, including HR and Finance.
* Support any occasional project work as required.
Qualifications
* Substantial administrative experience as a senior PA or Executive Assistant supporting a senior academic, clinician or executive.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex diaries and competing priorities.
* Proven experience managing UK and international travel itineraries.
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Ability to act independently and problem‑solve proactively.
