Our Values

Professional – Responsive – Creative – Inspiring – Collaborative.

About You

You need to be dynamic, driven, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator across all levels.

What We Offer

We promise a work environment that is both supportive and invigorating, with ample opportunities for professional growth and development. You will be welcomed into a culture that truly values every individual’s contribution.

When you work with us, faculty and professional services will frequently turn to you with inquiries via telephone, email, and Microsoft Teams. In this role, you will seek to refine and enhance our processes while maintaining our student and curriculum records. As part of our team, you will become an essential part of a diverse academic ecosystem, gaining valuable insight into Higher Education.

Location

The university currently operates a hybrid work model. The successful candidate is expected to work on campus part of the week, primarily at the Pontypridd campus, with travel to all three USW campuses as required. This is a temporary fixed-term position (12 months) to cover maternity leave.

If you are a successful candidate and this will be your first professional services role at USW (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.

Our success is benchmarked through equality accreditations such as Athena Swan, Race Equality Charter, Stonewall, and Disability

Confident.

If you are a Welsh learner or speaker, we welcome your application. USW offers Welsh courses to help develop your Welsh skills, enabling you to provide bilingual services to students, colleagues, and the public.

We accept applications in Welsh and English. Applications in Welsh will not be treated less favorably than those in English.
