HR Recruit are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor for our client in the industrial sector. You will report directly into the Group HR Manager who is based at another site. This role is accountable for the Prescot site and there will be travel to other sites within a commutable distance. This is a fast paced and varied role.
Role Accountabilities
* To provide a professional HR service, offering support, guidance and advice on all HR related issues.
* To provide HR advice to managers and employees on all HR issues.
* To offer support and guidance to managers with all aspects of employee relations, including absence management and disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* To ensure the maintenance of accurate and legally compliant HR and training databases.
* Communicate with the HR administrator to ensure that all records are up to date and legally compliant
* To provide the HR Manager and HR Director with accurate HR statistics on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
* Support the HR Administrator and HR Manager with managing and co-ordinating recruitment throughout the business.
* Supporting managers with interviews when necessary, this often includes travel to other depots.
* Delivery of corporate induction to new employees, this often includes travel to other depots and presenting to multiple individuals.
Person Specification
* Must have proven HR experience at a similar level
* Confident to work on own initiative
* Organisational and administrative skills
* Knowledge of employment legislation
* Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
* Driven and determined
* Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
* Must have a valid driving licence
* Must have flexibility to travel within the North to the other sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a fast paced and expanding organisation. In return you will receive a salary of between £38,000-£45,000 (depending on experience).
