The Role
As an Educator, you will:
* Deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences underpinned by the EYFS
* Act as a key person, supporting children's learning and wellbeing
* Build strong, positive relationships with families
* Support the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, including set-up, tidy-up, mealtimes, and care routines
* Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding policies
As a Senior Educator, you will also:
* Take a lead in planning and delivering parts of the curriculum
* Mentor colleagues, students, and volunteers
* Support with delegated responsibilities such as safety checks or external liaison
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking caring, motivated, and professional early years practitioners who thrive in a team environment.
* Educator: Level 2 in Early Years (and working towards Level 3)
* Senior Educator: Level 3 in Early Years (essential)
* Paediatric First Aid qualification (essential – support provided to renew/update if expired)
* Experience working with children aged 1–5 years
* Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
* Commitment to inclusive, high-quality childcare
Desirable: Experience mentoring others (for Senior Educator) and experience with under-twos.
