 
        
        The role of Machine Setter will be considered a Senior Operative working closely with the Engineering/Production Manager and assisting in the tool changing and machine setup operations. Working in a team of 9 comprising 1 shift manager, 6 engineers and 2 machine setters. Reporting to the shift manager. Progression opportunities include Engineering apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
 * You will work as a team to ensure machine changeovers are completed in a timely manner on days and done to the plan for production start up on nights.
 * Assembling processing equipment for production start ups.
 * Working closely with the hygiene team on nights to strip and rebuild machinery and equipment for cleaning.
 * Assisting engineering in completing machine maintenance.
 * Managing the blade stock and blade rotation.
 * Being the point of contact for blade issues on shift.
 * Escalating Blade issues to the shift management.
Qualifications
 * NVQ2 or equivalent desirable, but not essential.
 * Trade qualifications or experience in plumbing, plastering, carpentry or industrial environment.
 * Shift work (including nights).
 * Hand Tools experience desirable.
