We are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal team in London and support corporate governance and entity management activities across a portfolio of group companies. Working closely with the Senior Corporate Counsel, the Corporate Paralegal will provide company secretarial and corporate legal support, with a particular focus on maintaining statutory records, supporting Companies House compliance, and managing legal documentation and execution processes. This is a detail-driven role suited to someone with a strong interest in corporate governance and legal operations, who is comfortable handling structured legal work and liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisers. Please note: This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.
Responsibilities
* Maintain statutory and corporate records, including managing and uploading documents in NetDocuments and maintaining board and entity records in Diligent.
* Support Companies House compliance, including the preparation and submission of routine ad‑hoc filings.
* Assist with the organisation of board meetings and agendas, and with the preparation of board minutes, written resolutions of directors and shareholders, and related corporate documentation.
* Support the preparation of intercompany agreements using approved templates, and manage execution, filing and record‑keeping of those agreements.
* Support KYC and compliance processes, including coordinating certified documentation, responding to internal and external information requests, and assisting directors with Companies House identity verification requirements.
* Respond to internal requests for documentation and corporate structure information, including supporting finance and audit teams.
* Coordinate notarisation and apostille of documents, liaising with notaries, advisers and internal stakeholders.
* Manage incoming company post, including scanning, triage and onward distribution.
* Support document execution processes, including circulation via DocuSign and coordination of wet‑ink signature requests where required.
* Contribute to ad‑hoc corporate and legal projects and research as required by the business.
Qualifications
* Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* A methodical and conscientious approach to record‑keeping and compliance‑focused work.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
* Previous paralegal or equivalent legal support experience is desirable but not essential.
* A law degree or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.
* Experience with document management systems and confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and DocuSign is desirable.
