Vertu Ford Newcastle

We are currently hiring at Vertu Ford Newcastle and have a unique opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our dealership team! This is a great role for someone to start with us and make it their own.

You will work closely with on-site line managers to help build the Ford Newcastle brand, reporting to the General Manager, and will be responsible for promoting the brand within the local area using materials created by our in-house marketing team. A creative eye and adaptability are key for this role.

We offer a basic salary of up to £30,000 with an OTE of £40,000 plus a company car.


Key Responsibilities

* Following up on potential avenues to promote offers or the brand.
* Prospecting potential clients.
* Selling the brand and dealership, highlighting why clients should choose us.
* Managing social media content for the dealership.
* Developing excellent relationships with other teams to maximize role effectiveness.
* Engaging with the public to promote the dealership.
* Understanding the market, competitors, and consumers.
* Seeking local opportunities for dealership involvement.
* Initiating contact through cold calls and visits to new businesses.

* Ability to create relationships and network with potential clients.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to coordinate projects and meet deadlines.
* Confidence in speaking and selling to opportunities.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Creative thinking to generate new ideas and communicate them effectively.

For this role, we are looking for candidates with at least 12 months of sales or marketing experience. You should possess confidence, resilience, drive, and energy. You will be well-presented, with a desire to succeed, and able to quickly establish rapport. A clean driving license is required, and you should be willing to undergo FCA training if not already approved.
