Our client is a brand-new start-up founded at the beginning of 2023, with a mission to make film financing easier, fun, and more predictable so that great stories get told!
They have built a revolutionary new model that empowers audiences through giving them the unique opportunity to fund the films they want to watch, and support the creatives they believe in. In this model, audiences are given a deeper movie experience where they can engage, build interest and nurture creative ambition.
The team’s experience directing, producing and financing independent feature films, fuels their dedication towards disrupting disconnecting models of film financing, and determination to help the best in entertainment reach it’s audiences.
The Role:
Based in London, as a General Assistant, you will work closely alongside the CEO in an intimate and motivated team of technicians, film industry consultants and creatives. The CEO is a talented film producer with a wealth of knowledge to share and her co-founder is a successful developer / technician!
This is a hybrid working role with some in person office days, but the majority out of office, so they are looking for a team member who thrives both as an independent thinker and as part of a wider team:
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Onboarding creative projects onto the platform within DATO and liaising with creatives to source behind the scenes photo and video assets
2. Supporting the team in legal compliance processes as they continue to grow and develop as a brand
3. Supporting the CEO complete tasks such as formatting of documents, meeting coordination and general admin.
4. Helping manage communication between various teams
5. Writing/designing marketing and FAQ materials for film investors and creatives
6. Occasional social media support / management
About You:
7. You are organised and with excellent focus
8. You are an independent worker, as well as being able to communicate well within a team
9. You have a keen eye for spotting any errors on documentation
10. A good listener and capable to work alongside consultants to implement a vision
11. You are precise and detail oriented
12. You have a degree with outstanding levels of written communication
13. Impeccable spelling and grammar which is always correct with an ability to interpret verbal/written briefs in concise and engaging ways
14. Experience working within a start-up (not essential)
15. Experience with working with DATO and SendGrid Software would be a bonus! (not essential)
