Essential Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence
* At least 1 year's experience in safeguarding adults or children
* This post is open to female applicants only, as being female is deemed a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
The Role:
The overall purpose of this role is to work with families with an ongoing history of domestic abuse to achieve their goals and improve outcomes for them.
The post holder will work as part of a multi-agency team (Family Safeguarding Team - FST), primarily within social care and also within the local DA team.
Responsibilities include engaging families, conducting needs-led assessments, designing and delivering interventions to safeguard adults and children, and brokering additional support as needed.
The post holder should be knowledgeable about domestic abuse dynamics and capable of raising awareness and supporting others within the FST.

* Ability to work alongside clients as an equal partner, providing advice and guidance tailored to their skills and strengths
* Skilled in developing positive relationships with the community and support agencies to build a network of support
* Person-centred approach, focusing on what matters to clients and ensuring they are at the centre of support
