Location: Colnbrook, UK
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30

About the Company
Our client is a well-established business in the logistics sector who provides access to products and end to end services that support the transit of international imports and exports. They specialise in E-Commerce, One-Stop Solutions, Express Courier Services, and Cargo Services.
They are now looking for a reliable, detail-orientated Office Administrator to join their UK Head Office in Colnbrook. This role is ideal for someone organised, proactive, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks to keep business operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
1. Act as the first point of contact for visitors and guests.
Facilities & Office Management
2. Arrange servicing, certifications, and remedial works for equipment/machinery.
3. Manage fleet administration (insurance, tax, servicing, repairs, congestion charge etc).
4. Organise business insurances and licences (Fleet, Goods in Transit, Public Liability, etc).
5. Order office and operational supplies (with finance approval).
Human Resources
6. Handle day to day HR administration, escalating to outsourced HR provider when needed.
Audit & Compliance
7. Lead site audits, inspections, investigations, and customer visits (AEO, CAA, ETSF, MOU, ISO).
8. Conduct regular compliance checks on customs entries.
Suppliers & Customers
9. Set up new suppliers/customers following internal processes.
10. Support contract negotiation with suppliers/customers.
Training
11. Coordinate refresher and new starter training in line with renewal dates.
12. Monitor training compliance (including monthly X-ray training).
Health & Safety
13. Arrange statutory risk assessments and safety testing.
14. Log and report incidents/accidents.
IT Support
15. Act as the first point of contact for IT queries, escalating to outsourced IT provider where needed.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
16. GCSEs (A–C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
17. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
18. High attention to detail with strong organisational ability.
19. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
20. Flexible and proactive with the ability to multitask under pressure.
Desirable:
21. 2+ years’ experience in a similar administrative role.
22. Knowledge of logistics industry standards and accreditations.
