Duties: Maintain inventory controls by stowing stock away in the relevant location Prepare customer orders by processing work orders, picking materials, banding and labelling consignments ready for vehicle loading Assist drivers with loading vehicles and ensuring all material is loaded Operating overhead cranes and forklifts to assist with material handling Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported to the Operations Manager or Depot Manager Ensure PPE is worn at all times in the warehouse Carry out all daily, weekly and monthly checks as required by the companies procedures maintain equipment by performing 'before Use Checks' and reporting any faults Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping all racking floor areas free from waste Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as specified by your line managers Adhere to our environmental policy by ensuring all waste is disposed of in the correct skips (wood, metal, general) Package: Enhanced maternity and paternity pay Taste card Free mortgage, legal and health advice Free eye tests Pension Development opportunities Access to mental first aiders
