Bank Support Worker Care and Support - The Lodge Care Home Contract: Bank Salary: £12.71 Per Hour Shift Type: Mixed - Days & Nights Contracted hours: 0 The Lodge is a charming detached home in Langport, South Somerset, set beside Immacolata House and surrounded by the Somerset Levels countryside. The service provides dedicated support for individuals with learning disabilities in a calm, community focused environment. Support Worker £12.71 per hour Zero hours contract Pension, paid DBS, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality, person centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, helping them to maintain independence and live fulfilling daily lives within a safe and supportive environment. You will support with personal care, mobility, meals and daily routines, ensuring each individual’s support plan is followed with dignity and respect. You will promote independence, encourage engagement and provide reassurance, helping individuals feel confident and supported. Working closely with the wider team, you will help maintain a positive and structured environment, ensuring consistency of care and support. Your role will have a direct impact on residents’ wellbeing, confidence and quality of life.
