Job Description
TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to work in the Southall, London area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company. The role will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available. Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary). This role requires flexibility during their busy season (May to October) with regards to hours and days worked. Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 (Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operation and maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps, motors, actuators etc.
2. Daily boiler room and plant checks.
3. Maintaining commercial kitchen plant and equipment.
4. Carry out works on LV electrical installations, including install, fault finding & general maintenance.
5. Undertaking scheduled installations & maintenance on the above.
6. Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment.
7. Managing stock & supplies of equipment, source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
8. Oversee contractors.
9. Technical support to colleagues & assisting other staff members.
10. Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues.
11. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
12. Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
13. Liaise regularly with managers, supervisors & colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to the client at all times.
14. Provide a highly customer-focused service to the company and client at all times.
15. Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
16. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.
17. Any other duties as and when required.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
1. BEng or level 2 diploma particularly in mechanical, production or electrical engineering.
2. 18th Edition IEE wiring requirements.
3. Sound numerical ability for measuring and making calculations.
4. Have recognised C&G, NVQ qualifications.
5. Knowledge of current Building Regulations.
6. A thorough understanding of Health and Safety standards.
7. Experience in building or facilities maintenance.
8. The relevant technical knowledge.
9. A professional approach with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
10. Significant proven experience.
11. Full clean UK driving licence.
