Technical Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to oversee remediation projects across our residential portfolio. This Technical Manager role is critical in ensuring compliance with building safety regulations and delivering high-quality remedial works that protect residents and maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Management:
Lead technical aspects of fire safety and remediation schemes from inception through to completion.
Coordinate design, specification, and implementation of remedial works in line with current legislation and best practice.
Manage Principal Designer
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all works comply with Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and other relevant regulations.
Liaise with building control, warranty providers, and statutory bodies to secure approvals.
Design Coordination:
Manage consultants and contractors to deliver accurate technical solutions.
Review and approve drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate effectively with internal teams, residents, and external stakeholders.
Provide technical advice and support to project managers and site teams.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor site works to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Implement robust quality control processes and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role within residential construction.
Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, cladding remediation, and building compliance.
Excellent understanding of UK building regulations and warranty requirements.
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
