Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse to join our team at Standish Dental Practice. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and delivering exceptional patient care. Located in Wigan, this position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on professional development.
Responsibilities
* Assist dentists during procedures and ensure that all necessary instruments are prepared.
* Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
* Support the sterilization and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
* Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and post-operative care.
Requirements
Applicant must have grade 5 in English, Maths and Science with relevant certification or experience.
2 year training including coursework and exam, leading to level 3 qualification.
* Strong communication skills in English to interact with patients and staff effectively.
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
