PROJECT BASED IN PORTUGAL
DataX Connect are currently seeking experienced CSA Lead to oversee all Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works on a major hyperscale data centre development. This role is pivotal to ensuring coordinated delivery of groundworks, structural packages, building envelope, architectural finishes, and all associated interfaces with MEP and commissioning teams.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, programme focus, and strong site coordination, ensuring the CSA scope is delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards within a fast-track mission-critical environment.
Flights (10/4 rotation), accommodation and living allowance on top of basic salary.

CSA Delivery & Technical Leadership
* Lead all CSA activities from early enabling works through structure, envelope, internal architectural fit-out and handover.
* Review and coordinate design information, ensuring technical compliance and buildability.
* Identify clashes, sequencing issues, and design gaps early, proposing practical solutions.
* Manage structural, civils and architectural subcontractors, ensuring alignment with specifications and project requirements.
Programme & Interface Coordination
* Work closely with planning teams to develop and maintain the CSA programme including milestones, phasing and installation sequencing.
* Ensure smooth interfaces between CSA, MEP, commissioning and specialist packages.
* Attend and lead daily/weekly coordination meetings to drive progress and resolve issues.
* Track progress on-site, report delays and implement mitigation measures where required.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
* Ensure all CSA works meet client standards, project specifications, building codes and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee QA/QC processes including inspections, ITPs, redline drawings, and turnover documentation.
* Participate in design workshops, constructability reviews and technical submittal review processes.
* Ensure that as-built documentation is prepared, reviewed and submitted in line with project requirements.
Health & Safety Leadership
* Promote a strong safety culture across all CSA activities.
* Review and enforce RAMS, lift plans, temporary works designs and permit requirements.
* Ensure safety compliance during heavy civils, structural works, façade installations and internal architectural activities.
* Conduct safety walks, toolbox talks and participate in HSE reviews.
Commercial & Procurement Support
* Work with commercial managers on subcontractor scope alignment, variations, progress claims and cost control.
* Provide input into procurement schedules, material requisitions and long-lead item identification.
* Support tender reviews and technical evaluations for CSA packages.
Qualifications & Experience
* 7+ years’ experience managing CSA delivery on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres, pharma, semiconductor or mission-critical environments.
* Strong understanding of groundworks, structural steel and concrete, building envelope systems, internal architectural finishes and temporary works.
* Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing and multi-disciplinary interface management.
