Position: Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Band 6)
Location: Milton Keynes University Hospital
Contract Tenure: 2 months initially
Shifts: Core shifts, Monday to Friday
Pay Mechanism: Direct Pay
Pay Rates: £26 - £28

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct microtomy and provide high-quality diagnostic pathology services.
2. Perform routine and specialized tests in Cellular Pathology.
3. Ensure adherence to quality control and assurance protocols.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient diagnosis.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all laboratory activities.
Essential Qualifications:
6. HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
7. Proven experience in Cellular Pathology.
8. Demonstrated proficiency in microtomy within a diagnostic setting.

9. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
