Swimming Support & General Assistance
About Me I’m a man in my early 60s living in the St Athan area with my partner (who is my main carer) and our dog. I’m young at heart, have no filter, and a dark sense of humour, so a good laugh goes a long way. I enjoy the occasional drink. In January 2025 I experienced three strokes, spending several months in a coma followed by rehabilitation. I am continuing to regain mobility and confidence. I use crutches for short distances and an electric wheelchair for longer journeys. I can sometimes become confused or mixed up, so patience and clear communication are important.
Swimming is something I love and, before my strokes, i swam a mile every morning. Getting back into the pool is a key part of my physiotherapy and recovery.
