This permanent role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 - with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You'll deliver creative, well-structured lessons that develop reading, writing, and analytical skills, while fostering a love of literature and communication.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
* Support pupils in developing strong literacy, language, and critical thinking skills
* Use assessment data to tailor instruction and improve outcomes
* Create a safe, inclusive, and high-expectation classroom culture
* Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities
* Take part in departmental collaboration, CPD, and whole-school initiative
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching English in a secondary setting
* Strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for literature and language
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* ECTs welcome - full mentoring and induction provided
* A commitment to raising achievement and promoting inclusion
