Senior Quantity Surveyor – Remote working (Site travel approx. once a week) Company: Leading Main Contractor Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 package Location: Remote - with travel to sites - (Midlands & North) (typically once a week, but not always) The Opportunity Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor who thrives on autonomy and delivering results? We are recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to support delivery on industrial and commercial schemes across the UK. This is a largely remote role, with occasional travel to sites. Key Responsibilities * Lead commercial and cost management activities across projects from pre-construction through to completion. * Prepare and review cost plans, budgets, forecasts, valuations and final accounts. * Manage procurement, subcontract packages, contract administration and negotiations. * Provide commercial guidance and reporting to project teams and stakeholders. * Ensure robust contract and cost control, driving value and financial performance. * Work autonomously while collaborating with project teams to deliver commercial objectives. Key Requirements * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor, ideally with experience working on industrial or commercial schemes. * Strong commercial acumen and experience in cost planning, reporting, procurement and contract administration. * Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and make sound commercial decisions. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders. * Relevant construction or commercial qualification (e.g., MRICS/AssocRICS or equivalent).
