The Service
The Mews is a PBS service with 12 single-occupancy apartments in West Belfast, providing Person-Centred supported living solutions for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and complex needs. The service operates under the PBS Framework, offering 24-hour care and support.
The Role
As part of the Living Options services, the Team Leader supports the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager to meet the Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and the DHSS&PS Domiciliary Care Agency Minimum Standards. Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the development and implementation of personalized care/support plans and risk assessments.
2. Ensuring the delivery of quality care and support.
3. Managing budgets and resources.
4. Mentoring and supervising the Support Team.
Team Leaders must be flexible and available to work unsociable hours, including public holidays on a rotational basis.

Essential Criteria
1. Professional qualification (e.g., Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or relevant Degree) and registration or eligibility for registration on the NISCC register.
2. Two years' experience in a social care setting supporting/caring for individuals.
3. Knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities.
4. Experience with challenging behaviors and risk management.
5. Effective communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
