This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology business that provides specialist software solutions to organisations with field-based operations across the UK. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, commercial insight, and operational excellence, the business is looking for a capable Finance Manager to support its next stage of growth.
Role Overview
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process and provide meaningful financial insight to support decision-making across the business. This is a varied, hands-on role with responsibility across reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, controls, and process improvement. It would suit a qualified finance professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial thinking in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis
* Lead month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
* Support budgeting, reforecasting, and cash flow planning across the business
* Partner with stakeholders to provide financial analysis, commercial insight, and decision support
Requirements
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or finalist, with strong management accounts experience
* Confident preparing end-to-end monthly accounts and supporting reporting for senior leaders
* Strong Excel skills with experience building and analysing financial models
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues
