Job Title: Avionics Tech

Winter programme runs Sept 2025 to May 2026
1 week on late shift a month. 1430-2300 Late shift (1 week) 0700-1700 Days (3 weeks)
Responsibilities
* Carrying out maintenance and modifications on Boeing 737 variants and 787s as part of the winter programme.
* Carry out modifications of aircraft systems such as installation of new systems and deletion of old systems.
* Fitting new looms and wires into existing looms, terminations and component installation.
* Systems testing post rebuild.
* Scheduled maintenance tasks.
* Troubleshooting of complex systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
Qualifications and experience
* Ideal candidates will have Avionic Modification experience and be able to complete the mod on each aircraft moving from one to the next, with ability to commit to the whole season.
* Candidates should be able to fault find and test.
* Candidates with a workshop background would be considered as well as those working on aircraft.
* Experience maintaining Boeing 737 variants and 787s is relevant.
Airside requirements
Because this role is based airside, if selected, the candidate would have to undergo a Full Airside Pass. This entails referencing the individual for the last 5 years of employment/education. A Criminal Record Check (DBS) would also have to be obtained from any country resided/worked in for 6 months or more within the last 5 years. GSAT.
