Year 5 Teacher
* Daily Rate: From £145+
* Location: DN10
* Job Type: Temporary one year (option to be made permanent after this)
* Start date: September 2025
Reed Education are supporting a village primary with their recruitment for a Year 5 Teacher to join their school in DN10 from September 2025 for one year initially. This role is ideal for someone with Key Stage 2 (KS2) experience who is ready to take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and execution of lessons. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
* Manage a Year 5 class, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance student learning.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to share best practices and resources.
* Participate in school meetings and events.
* Maintain up-to-date records of students' progress, attendance, and any other required documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 2, ideally with specific experience in Year 5.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
