The RoleThe school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team after Easter. You will support students across a range of subjects, working closely with teaching staff to ensure all pupils are engaged and progressing.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide in-class support to students on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons
* Support students with additional learning needs
* Help maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
* Prepare and organise learning resources
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
