The post holder will sit within the Commercial Function and will provide valuable support to the commercial team, focusing on contract change and management. Acting as the Contract Change Coordinator, they will support the Contract Change Deputy Lead and the Contract Management Lead through their Line Manager.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support the Contract Change Deputy Lead in managing and tracking change management initiatives.
2. Coordinate contract changes by drafting and collating wording, monitoring schedule documents, and ensuring version control.
3. Liaise with HQ AFR functions and the Supplier regarding requested changes to ensure understanding and progress, keeping all parties informed.
4. Assist in developing and maintaining commercial guidance for HQ AFR functions seeking contract changes.
5. Ensure knowledge of new commercial policies and directives is up-to-date and incorporated within AFR; collaborate with peer groups and commercial colleagues within MOD to adopt best practices in contract change and management strategies.

This role is aligned with the Associate Commercial Practitioner role as per the Government Commercial Function People Standards for Professional guidance.
