We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromsgrove District and Redditch to assist with the appointment of a Capital Quantity Surveyor, on a 6-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £32.43 - £41.08 per hour
Responsibilities:
* Preparing contract documentation (Tenders, Bills of Quantities, Work Schedules, Specifications, Schedule of Rates)
* Procuring goods, services and works contracts
* Undertaking site measurements and valuing works
* Preparing interim payments, variations and final accounts
* Analysing and agreeing claims
Qualifications:
* Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Quantity Surveying
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying (pre- and post-contract)
* Strong knowledge of various building contract forms
* Experience managing revenue, capital and externally funded budgets
* Experience producing and issuing contract administration documentation
* Knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations including CDM
