Job Description
Frette is seeking an sales-driven Shop Manager to lead the Frette Shop in Harrods.
This role is responsible for leading and motivating the sales team in order to achieve the overall sales objectives. Ensuring associates are trained, following Frette selling standards, and maximizing on all business opportunities within and outside the assigned location.
Responsibilities include:
* Meet company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer. Recommend alternate options or help locate item based on needs.
* Perform various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing of cash or credit payments and counting money.
* Build and maintain a solid customer base by following up on clienteling, and accurate data collection.
* Builds solid relationship with department Store Management and Sales Staff to ensure profitable positioning within the environment.
* Partner with UK General Manager to execute special projects within shop and potential off-site locations (including home installs, trade events, etc.)
* Strategize with UK General Manager on all initiatives related to business development. Secure appointments with trade to build brand awareness/sales and development of trade networks.
* Assist in leading, directing and motivating the sales team in order to achieve the overall sales objectives.
* Lead by example and ensure all are providing a professional and excellent level of customer service with existing and new customers, consistently exhibiting Frette Service Standard and Values.
* Handle customer issues, resolution & accommodations, while ensuring all are communicated to the General Manager.
* Supervise Frette Shop staff by making sure employees adhere to company policies and procedures pertaining to selling, systems, and sales floor standards (example: dress code, sales floor etiquette, cell phone usage, etc.). Communicating all employee relations issues, concerns, and incidents to UK General Manager.
* Assist in creation of reports showing sales information, business recaps, and client history.
* Assist in training of new employees on selling, clienteling, systems, and product knowledge.
* Manages an appealing, easy-to-shop environment for customers by ensuring visual merchandising and housekeeping standards are maintained consistently throughout the store.
* Be aware of inventory levels on the sales floor, keeping associates abreast of new product or shipments to maximize sales opportunities, and communicating specific needs/feedback for opportunity to UK General Manager.
* Assist General Manager by completing all ad-hoc assigned duties.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of retail supervisor or managerial experience, within luxury environment preferred.
* Detail oriented, strong organization and follow-up skills.
* Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift items weighing up to 25lbs.
* Demonstrates a positive attitude that contributes to a positive team environment.
* Team oriented but also self-driven with entrepreneurial spirit.
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members along with willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance.
* Strong Customer-centric approach
* Strong presentation skills
* Excellent Skills in operating personal computers, POS systems, and various software packages including MS office.
* Must be able to work and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
