Senior Project Manager – Location: Pembrokeshire, onsite; HOURS: Full time; Type: Staff role; Salary range: Starting salary £(phone number removed) per annum pro rata.
Our client: Our client, located in the scenic coastal area of Pembrokeshire and operating within the Oil & Gas sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the full portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards. This role oversees governance, planning, and resource allocation while driving growth, innovation, and long term sustainability goals. Working closely with Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams, they will provide strategic leadership to enhance plant reliability and support the company\'s decarbonisation journey.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the organisation’s project portfolio, ensuring effective prioritisation and resource allocation.
* Establish and oversee governance frameworks and provide regular reporting to the Leadership Team.
* Oversee capital expenditure (Capex) planning and monitor contractor/vendor performance.
* Drive integration of low-carbon technologies and sustainable solutions.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver key projects.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in project portfolio management within the energy industry.
* Strong track record managing complex infrastructure projects, budgets, schedules, and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and risk management.
* Experience implementing decarbonisation strategies and sustainability initiatives.
* Demonstrable leadership skills and a strong commercial mindset.
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
