We are seeking an enthusiastic Boxing Coach to join an Alternative Provision in Burgess Hill, supporting pupils aged 11–14 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a unique opportunity to use the power of sport to engage, inspire, and build resilience in young learners who may struggle in mainstream education. What you’ll be doing: Leading engaging boxing sessions to promote fitness, discipline, and self-confidence Supporting pupils to manage emotions, build positive relationships, and achieve personal goals Working closely with teaching and support staff to create a safe, structured, and motivating environment Acting as a positive role model for young people, helping them develop respect, resilience, and teamwork What we’re looking for: Experience in coaching boxing (qualification desirable but not essential) Ability to connect with young people with SEMH needs and build trusting relationships A patient, calm, and consistent approach to managing behaviour Enthusiasm to make learning and personal development fun and engaging Why join us?
