What You'll Be Doing As a Youth Support Worker, you will: Deliver pre-planned lessons with confidence and enthusiasm. Create a calm, focused, and structured learning environment. Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and participation. Support students who require additional guidance, encouragement, or behavioural support. Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and other professionals across the school. Act as a positive role model, promoting respect, resilience, accountability, and teamwork. Respond effectively to challenges and adapt to the needs of individual students. Who We're Looking For You do not need Qualified Teacher Status to succeed in this role. We're looking for individuals who are: Confident communicators who can command a room with professionalism. Natural leaders who earn trust and respect through consistency. Calm under pressure and able to think on their feet. Resilient, adaptable, and solution-focused. Passionate about supporting and inspiring young people. Experienced in sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, behaviour support, leadership roles, customer service, the military, or other transferable environments. In possession of a DBS certificate, or willing to apply for one.
