We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer-Field Advisor to join our Field Operating Services (FOS) team.
As a Field Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work on-site around the world, collaborating with our customers to ensure the successful start-up, operation, and optimization of UOP technologies.

Responsibilities:
* Provide field technical assistance during refinery unit checkouts and startups.
* Support development activities in commercial refinery units.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures at all times.
* Providing feedback and suggest improvements on UOP process designs.
* Troubleshoot issues and recommend innovative solutions.
* Coordinate commissioning activities and transfer technology to customers.
* Review and advise on emergency and normal operating procedures.
* Assist in establishing and maintaining process variables for safe and efficient operations.
* Collect and analyze unit operating data and laboratory results.
* Build effective relationships with customer counterparts and conduct unit audits.
Develop and design chemical manufacturing processes. You will apply the principles of chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics to solve problems that involve the production or use of chemicals, fuel, drugs, food, and many other products. You will use your broad knowledge to help run experiments and tests to aid in the development of improved manufacturing procedures and processes.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the petrochemical, gas processing, or refining industry.
* Experience with UOP technologies preferred.
* Proficiency in written and verbal English.
Additional Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
* Flexibility to work hours dictated by customer requirements.
* Ability to work in physically challenging environments.
* Willingness to commit to full-time travel for project durations.
* Strong interpersonal skills for global customer interaction.
