You perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the property's facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Undertake and manage various general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, telecommunications, heating, carpentry, and decorating.
2. Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, handling basic repairs and maintenance requirements.
3. Inspect building structures, equipment, and assets, performing reactive and preventive maintenance.
4. Perform tasks and deliver services with the highest level of discretion, aiming for minimal disruption to guests and visitors.
5. Actively seek to contribute to guest and visitor comfort.
6. Remain proactive and approach tasks and requests with a can-do attitude.
7. Handle basic repairs and maintenance; coordinate and oversee contractors and external providers, ensuring compliance with service agreements and procedures.
8. Install, inspect, and troubleshoot equipment, appliances, and systems.
9. Maintain and replace heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems as required.
10. Liaise with and supervise contractors and external providers for work activities.
11. Assist in record-keeping and maintain a daily log of repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment.
12. Respect Accor's Legionnaires' disease directive.
13. Apply the hotel's security regulations (e.g., fire safety).
14. Champion the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" (energy saving, recycling, waste sorting).
15. Contribute actively to the safety of people and property, ensuring safety exits remain unobstructed.
16. Identify areas for improvement within the scope of operations, including risk awareness.
17. Undertake training to develop increased expertise in relevant areas.
18. Report stock levels.
Additional Tasks:
* Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on the property's facilities and equipment.
* Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective actions.
* Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful manner.
Qualifications:
* Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
* Highly responsible and reliable.
