Role : Lead Project Manager Location : Shenton House, Andover, Hampshire Salary : Available upon request Hours : Full time, 39.5 per week Shenton Group is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Lead Project Manager to join our Capital Projects team! What’s the role? As a Lead Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our Capital Projects department, driving excellence across multiple complex technical projects. You’ll lead a team of Project Managers and Engineers, ensuring projects are delivered to specification, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You’ll work closely with our Technical/Design and Sales teams, managing communication, compliance, and performance across the full project lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a background in construction project management, and technical knowledge of generators and power systems. You’ll be a key player in shaping the future of our project delivery and enhancing our reputation as the UK’s leading technical experts in standby power. What do you need? At least 10 years’ experience in the industry and a proven track record of delivering high-value technical projects (£150k–£5m) is essential. A mechanical or electrical engineering qualification is desirable, along with certifications like CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS, or PRINCE2. You’ll need to be self-motivated, organised, and confident in managing conflict and making decisions under pressure. A sense of ownership and a drive for continuous improvement will help you thrive in this fast-paced role. What’s in it for you?
