Would you like to join Hyde as an Asset Compliance Cordinator? We’re looking for a capable and organised Technical Co‑ordinator to join our Safer Homes team within Asset Management & Sustainability. This is a key support role helping to ensure that safety‑critical workstreams—such as fire safety—are delivered on time, to the right standard and in full compliance with legislation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Support Contract Managers by giving technical advice and monitoring contractor performance
* Help manage and resolve issues where work or performance does not meet agreed standards
* Support compliance with legal, regulatory and Hyde requirements
* Make sure work is completed to Hyde standards, policies and procedures
* Take ownership of tasks and queries, resolving issues quickly and effectively
* Identify risks, elevate concerns and support appropriate actions
* Keep accurate records, including inspections, certificates and compliance documents
* Support audits, reporting and technical queries across allocated workstreams
* Review quotes and work orders, checking accuracy and timeliness
* Support procurement activity with technical input where needed
* Help resolve customer and stakeholder complaints relating to safety works
* Work closely with customers, contractors and colleagues to ensure clear communication and access for works
About You:
You’ll have experience working in housing, property services or compliance and be confident managing technical information, contractor performance and multiple priorities.
* Experience in a housing, compliance or property services environment
* Knowledge of housing safety requirements (e.g. gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage data and records accurately
* Confident problem‑solver with a proactive and accountable approach
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Strong communication skills with customers and professional stakeholders
* Comfortable using IT systems for reporting, monitoring and compliance tracking
