Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Early Learning and Childcare Officer.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the provision of a safe, caring and stimulating nursery environment for all children.
* Contribute and implement a relevant curriculum in line with national and local guidance.
* Plan, record, implement and evaluate suitable programmes of activities.
* Maintain and record children's assessment progress and promote parental participation.
Qualifications
* Experience of working or training in an early learning and childcare setting.
* Awareness of assessment and documentation of children's learning in line with national and local guidance.
* Ability to plan and deliver a relevant and inclusive curriculum.
* Knowledge of child development and flexible working to meet service needs.
* Hold a relevant practice qualification in early learning and childcare such as HNC in Childhood practice at SCQF level 7 or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7 or equivalent.
* Meet the registration requirements of SSSC as Practitioner of Day Care of Children Service within designated timeline.
