The Governors and Senior Leadership Team at St Thomas’s are seeking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly school community.
This is a rewarding role where you will play an important part in ensuring our pupils have a safe, happy and positive lunchtime experience.
About the Role:
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils during the lunch break, both in the dining hall and on the playground.
You will help to create a calm, safe and enjoyable environment, supporting children’s wellbeing and encouraging positive behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising pupils in the dining hall and outdoor areas
* Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils socially
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all childrenAssisting younger children with their lunch where needed
* Encouraging good manners and respectful interactions
* Supporting safe and enjoyable play during outdoor time
* Reporting any concerns to staff as appropriate

* Is calm, patient and able to manage behaviour positively
* Is reliable, punctual and a strong team player
* Has a good awareness of safety and safeguarding
* Can use initiative and remain positive in a busy environment
