The Data and Analytics harness a wealth of data on how people use Rightmove and what this means to both our customers and consumers. As a Digital Analyst, you will be part of a collaborative, ambitious and determined team of analysts that are responsible for i) implementing advanced tracking specs ii) analysing online behaviour of our users and site performance and conducting data analysis that produces clear and actionable insights and iii) providing effective measurement solutions for projects. As well, the team use data and analytics to inform strategic and operational product decisions and contribute to the development of Rightmove’s product strategy. We want you to bring a wealth of experience in delivering analytical, data-driven insights across Rightmove’s digital platforms and competitor landscape. Above all, we’re looking for someone who can connect the dots on what’s driving overall business performance and can provide clear insights that empower people to spot opportunities and ask the right questions Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with senior management and wider teams, both internal and external, to design and build out reporting requirements and analysis frameworks. • Leverage Rightmove’s rich data sets and uncover hidden patterns and opportunities that may not be immediately obvious. • Develop visually appealing and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports to monitor progress against KPIs. • Cultivate a culture of data-driven decision making with through training and consumption of new and existing dashboards. • Translate data findings into actionable insight and recommendations through data story telling. • Keep an eye on industry trends to identify challenges and opportunities to keep Rightmove ahead. • Build strong relationships with senior management and serve as trusted advisor on Rightmove and competitor digital performance. • Support the Director of Data & Analytics and Analytics Manager in developing best in class analytics solutions. • Prioritisation of requests and tickets to balance the strategic and tactical information needs of the business. We are looking for someone who • As a guide, around 5 years’ minimum experience in Digital Analytics • Demonstrates extensive experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and competitor tools (SimilarWeb, Comscore, Data.AI) • Possesses strong SQL skills in BigQuery to find answers to ad-hoc and often complex questions. Additional programming languages is a plus. • Is proficient in dashboarding and reporting tools like Looker Core and Looker Studio • Is a pro-active self-starter with the passion for addressing ambiguous questions with data analysis. • Has exceptional organisational skills, multi-tasking ability and attention to detail. • Excel in both written and verbal communication • Has proven adaptability to fast-changing priorities and is able to meet deadlines effectively. • Stay connected with market trends for ongoing innovation. • Has experience of effective technical conversations and pairing with data engineers and software engineers to productionise outputs.
